Diversified IT talent pipeline

The Opportunity

CareSource’s leadership team was looking for an innovative way to grow its FTE talent pool within the IT Organizations to accommodate the growing needs of the organization.

The Project

All eleven students selected for the bootcamp graduated and were hired by Inage/Thrive to support CareSource projects. Three of the graduates are now full-time employees of CareSource, four continue to build their IT career with other employers, while four pursued a path outside of IT. The teams successfully delivered services to CareSource’s IT organization to meet critical deadlines, and changed lives in the process.

The Results

Thrive Accelerator partnered with CareSource’s Life Services organization to identify, select and train CareSource members. A mailing was sent to CareSource Montgomery County members. The team screened and selected a group of qualified members who attended
a 7-week Software Quality Testing bootcamp. Upon graduation, students were hired by Ingage/Thrive to perform SQA services to CareSource under the guidance of a mentor to learn important on-the-job skills and complete critical project deliverables.
