When a non-profit was overwhelmed by rapid growth and was entering manual data from 400 global sites, we partnered to design and deliver an employee website application to spark growth and expansion.
This nonprofit partner aimsto provide employability skills training and workplace internships for individuals with significant disabilities, particularly youth transitioning from high school to adult life.
Our client was overwhelmed by rapid growth and demand. It was challenging to keep up with thousands of institutions while trying to track graduate success. They relied on manual information entered from 400 global sites, resulting in systemic inefficiencies and inconsistent data. The team was inundated by a lot of manual work, and was updating information sent from partners by hand. This was valuable time better spent helping to further expand the program to help more youths and businesses with new employees.
Ingage designed and delivered a data-rich employee website application, extending the use for external partners and transitioning Project SEARCH to the cloud. Our cross-functional team conducted business analysis, created wireframes and designs, and tested the solution. Ingage delivered student success tracking, which required careful data security and privacy handling. Message boards were also created to allow sharing and networking across external partners.
The new website and subsequent updates have helped spark tremendous growth for our client, which has expanded globally. Early successes led to improved funding because of their return on investment. The new website has helped to aggregate data and manage the back-end, so that we can focus on the important aspects of our mission to help everyone work together for continued success. Recruiting potential employers and institutions is easier with expanded features and tools.
